I'm documentary storytelling photographer from the Northside of Minneapolis. I am pastor's wife and a mother of three little loves. a teacher, a gospel-choir singer, and a marathon runner.
I've had a camera in my hands as long as I can remember and along the way have learned the power of real images to tell stories. Stories can be messy, spontaneuous or full of joy. Photographs have the power to educate, enlighten and evoke emotion. They can open our eyes to see things in new and life-changing ways. They bring tears to our eyes or evoke uncontrollable laughter. They help us remember the stories of our lives now that we don't ever want to forget. Telling stories captured through images and building relationships with people who the have the stories to tell is my passion.
